Here's a good place to start -
this cute little graphic of the northern Pacific coast where
the condo is located.
You can fly into the Daniel Oduber
Int'l Airport (LIR) which is only about 20-30 minutes
from
Playa del Coco. Flying into San jose, the Capital city,
can be cheaper, but the
drive from there to the beach is a
real "beach".
Google up all the beaches you see
here - some are great for surfing, others for
snorkeling.
Some are great for sailing or tearing it up
with jet skis, and some are tailor-made for just
hanging
out. Some have light sand, some have dark. One of them,
Playa Conchal, is all
finely-crushed seashells.
Tamarindo is a happenin' town if you're looking for some
action
(good surfing and terrific sunset as well).
All these beaches are within 30-40 minutes
of Playa del
Coco.
